If you are looking to fill your pastures with llamas that wear spotted coats the year round you should start with a herdsire inclined to reproduce that trait. A herdsire with appaloosa phenotype & multiple appaloosa genetic layers is an influential way to start the spots rolling. He was also born with "s" shaded design on his cheek. It was obvious from the start that he was special and that "s" was the unique symbol for his future. We've decided the signature "s" stands for, in no particular order, - spots - suri or silky - structure - sire, and now of course, Showcase. |

| MGF Creme De Fraise has been on our farm since she was a yearling and has produced a cria each year. We are retiring her from the breeding program and are offering her as a farm companion, flock protector or wool producer. She is set in her ways and probably would not make a suitable project for a younger child. She always takes her job as a den mother to younger llamas on the farm seriously and this trait would most likely transfer to other livestock. She is up-to-date on vaccinations and parasite prevention. |
